The Star Cinema cross-cultural romantic comedy “Suddenly It’s Magic” debuted at no. 3 in the October 31–November 4 box office time frame according to Box Office Mojo. “Skyfall” ruled the race while the 2nd weekend of “A Secret Affair” captured the no. 2 slot.
The Erich Gonzales-Mario Maurer starrer ranked-in P25.8 million in its first 5 days of screening last week placing third overall.
Clinching the no. 1 spot, as expected, is the James Bond movie “Skyfall” starring Daniel Craig. The latest 007 film scored P77.25 million in 5 days.
Previous number 1, “A Secret Affair,” starring Anne Curtis, Derek Ramsay and Andi Eigenmann settled for second place last weekend. It’s 2-week box office gross is now P95.17 million en route to become the sixth Filipino movie this year to surpass the P100 million mark.
Meanwhile, the horror movie Tiktik: The Aswang Chronicles is now the 6th highest-grossing Filipino film for 2012 by virtue of its P69 million box office gross in 2 weeks.
This Guy’s In Love with U, Mare! is still the 2nd highest-grossing Filipino movie of 2012 with P238.7-M box office gross in 4 weeks. Can it surpass The Mistress‘ record of P262.79-M to become 2012′s no. 1?
