Do you still remember the box-office hit team-up of Sarah Geronimo and John Lloyd Cruz in 2008 in a movie entitled "A Very Special Love" which made high revenue? Well to all fans out there, just be patience as they are set to return in 2013 not just once, but twice!
It’s an undeniable fact that Sarah Geronimo and John Lloyd Cruz unconsciously changed the thinking of the Filipino movie-goers that “only-Hollywood-movies-are-worth-the-tickets” and encouraged them to watch Filipino films once again when their movies “A Very Special Love” (2008) and “You Changed My Life” (2009) became monster hits. It started the trend that even local movies can give big budgeted Hollywood films a run for their money.
Next year, this tandem is coming back with two explosive projects aimed to break existing box-office records.
The first one is the third installment to the beloved “Laida-Miggy” love story titled “It Takes A Man And A Woman.” Also directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina (director of both “A Very Special Love” and “You Changed My Life”), it will serve as the Valentine offering of Star Cinema and Viva Films which is expected to open in theaters on February 13, 2013.
The second movie project that Sarah Geronimo and John Lloyd Cruz has a working title “Undo” and it will also feature phenomenal actor Coco Martin. Its expected target play date is on October 16, 2013.
