Angel Locsin and Vhong Navarro talked about "Toda Max" Anniversary

The comedy sitcom of ABS-CBN which is topbilled by Robin Padilla, Vhong Navarro, Angel Locsin, and Pokwang entitled "Toda Max" will celebrate its first year anniversary for the whole month of November. The said sitcom will feature special guests for each episode to thank the fans and viewers for their support on the show.

Vhong Navarro, did not expect that the show would click to the viewers, “Ako talaga, sa akin, ang dami kong ginawang sitcom, so kaya nage-expect ako na[baka] hindi tanggapin,” he admitted. He added that proper timing probably has something to do with their show’s success.

Meanwhile, Miss Angel Locsin admitted that she is able to show off her other side in Toda Max. “Dito ko nailabas ang kalokahan ko,” she quipped. She added that they are now on their fourth season and expressed her gratitude for the support of their fans.

During the interview the two were then asked if they would be comfortable working with their previous sweethearts if they were to appear as guests on the show. Vhong said, “Ako sa totoo lang, parang di pa ako(ready).” Vhong also explained that it is not that he has not yet moved on, but because he was not able to work with his ex-girlfriend even when they were together. However, he said that he might be able to pull it off if he and his former flame do something under the drama genre.

However, Angel Locsin said that she is unsure if she is ready to work with her former boyfriend. “Sa totoo lang, hindi ko alam. Parang gusto ko na parang natatakot din ako,” she said. “Ang naging ex ko lang naman na buhay ay dalawa. Si Oyo. Okay naman ako kay Oyo” With her ex Luis Manzano, Angel expressed her reluctance. She described their current relationship as “okay” and though they have mutual respect for each other, they have not yet crossed paths since they broke up.

Angel also admitted that it is not easy for her to say if she can work with Luis Manzano. “Di ko alam kung anong magiging reaksyon ko. Knowing him naman, napaka-gentleman. Baka ako ‘yung magkaproblema. Gusto kong sabihing oo pero alam mo ‘yung parang natatakot ka. Parang ganon,” she confessed.

Meanwhile, Angel is just thankful to be a regular cast of Toda Max. She said that although she was included in the pilot episode, she was not really supposed to be part of the regular cast, but then she was called again to be a mainstay. She said that she is proud to be part of a whole team who treat each other like a family.

According to Angel Locsin the project is something new for her because she is used to doing drama and action. “Bukod sa sobrang saya ng taping at enjoy, mababait ‘yung lahat ng katrabaho ko. Nakakapagpakita ako ng iba kong side. Hindi ‘yung Angel na umiiyak, kumakagat, may binabalibag, sinasabit kung saan-saan, lumilipad,” said Angel.

In the sitcom Miss Angel plays the role of Isabel Padausdos. Angel revealed that she can relate to her character, who strives hard to finish her studies so she can help her family. “Gusto niyang itawid ang pag-aaral kasi ang priority naman ni Isabel ay para sa pamilya niya, para sa magandang kinabukasan.” end of her statement.
