Jericho Rosales' indie film Alagwa is successful in Korea

Last Month, Jericho Rosales' movie entitled "Alagwa" had been successfully entered into its screening in 37th Busan International Film Festival. According to the hunk-actor, many of foreign viewers have been impressed on the said indie film,  “Ang ganda ng Q and A after the screening. The Koreans stayed until after the film. They were crying, they were laughing, they were asking very good questions. Sometimes personal pero okay lang. Nakaka-overwhelm lang kasi buong city ng Busan napaka-supportive. May mga Koreans pa na nagpapa-picture so nakakataba ng puso,” he said.

Echo explains that the main purpose of the film is to give awareness to the viewers, “Gusto lang namin mag-gain ng awareness. It’s a big event for us. Hopefully, we’ll have local and international distribution. Siyempre mas importante dito sa Pilipinas,” Jericho added.

Meanwhile, the said indie film will be also featured and can be watched locally in Philippines because it was included in the Cinema One Originals Festival.  It will be also shown in Robinson's Galleria from November 28 to December 9 and also at Edsa Shangrila from November 29 to December 4.

Jericho is asking his fellow Filipinos to watch and support his indie film "Alagwa", “Karamihan kasi ng indie films natin sa abroad napapansin. Dapat tayong Pinoy ma-exercise natin ‘yung appreciation for artistic films, kapupulutan din naman ng aral. At the same time, dapat may balance rin naman na hindi laging seryoso para ‘wag i-discriminate ‘yung ibang audience. Alagwa has that flavor,” he added.
