Before the result was announced, Charice as the mentor of KZ Tandingan did not cry this time and she said she believed on KZ's talent.  When KC Concepcion announced the first grand winner of X Factor Philippines, KZ became emotional and had so much joy and she said "Lord, God, maraming salamat po sa lahat,” Tandingan shouted, who added that she will use part of her earnings to repair a church in her hometown." Both Charice and KZ Tandingan thanked the crowd and their supporters.

As part of the show, the three grand finalists also performed with their mentors for the first time on the X Factor Philippines. KZ and Charice sung “The Way You Look Tonight,” while Daddy’s Home and their mentor Gary Valenciano harmonized on Michael Jackson’s “Man in the Mirror.” Gabriel Maturan and his mentor Martin Nievera, meanwhile, did a duet on the Disney theme song “Go the Distance” from the movie “Hercules.”
