Niel Coleta on Coco: “Hindi lang siya okay sa trabaho, the best din siyang kaibigan”

Niel Coleta was very happy because he was became part of the Juan Dela Cruz teleserye. He admitted that it’s a big opportunity for him to be included in the Fanta-serye soap and he already learned a lot from Juan Dela Cruz star Coco Martin.

“’Yung mga payo sa akin ni Kuya Coco tungkol sa trabaho ko dahil dun mas gusto kong ibigay pa lalo. Hindi lang siya okay sa trabaho, the best din siyang kaibigan,” said Neil.

He also admitted that Coco treats him as a younger brother as Martin would always help him on some of their scenes.

“Para ko na siyang kuya. Sa taping lagi niyang sinasabi at pinapaalala sa amin ‘yung character namin, kung paano ‘yung pag-atake namin sa eksena. Siya ‘yung nagbabato sa akin ng comedy, halos lahat ng eksena doon adlib na lang minsan eh,” he said, with a laugh.

Niel continued, “Nagiging natural, ‘yung tawa namin doon natural na kasi para sa amin, komportable na kami makatrabaho ang isa’t isa.” recounts the young actor.

Meanwhile, just recently, Niel got the New Movie Award from Star Award for Movies which was presented by the Philippine Movie Press Club that’s why Coco would always joke to him on the set.

“Nahihiya ako na natatawa rin kasi lagi niyang sinasabi na, ‘Oh, kailangan nating i-close up si ‘Bes’ kasi ‘Bes’ ang tawagan namin ni Coco,” he said.
