Chinese Zodiac (Movie of Jackie Chan) to be released in Philippines by Star Cinema

The new year is finally here and Star Cinema has already plans in bringing the Big International film of Jackie Chan to the Filipino movie goers.  

This is the very first time that Star Cinema will distribute a foreign film which is entitled Chinese Zodiac.  

The movie is written, produced, directed by the one and only Asian Superstar Jackie Chan which will be shown in theaters on Wednesday, January 30, 2013.

The Chinese Zodiac which is reported to be the last major action movie of Jackie Chan (but he confesses that he would be still busy in doing films) was in the front news recently when it was declared as the highest grossing film ever in China because of it $34.6 Million Dollars revenue on just its 4 days in theaters.  The said film is expected to be released in theaters in America in the first or second quarter of the year 2013.

Most of the scenes on the said movie were taken in eight different countries; the Chinese Zodiac is an action-comedy-adventure masterpiece where its story evolves in one adventurer and a treasure hunter called Asian Hawk (which is done by Jackie) wherein he moves from place to place around the world to look for stolen bronze heads of twelve animals which is part of the Chinese Zodiac.

Part of the cast members of the movie are Oliver Platt, Laura Weissbecker, Liao Fan, Yao Xing Tong, Zhang Lan Xin, and the Korean heartthrob Kwon Sang-woo, who became famous and loved by pinoy fans on kapamilya hit Koreanovela  Stairway to Heaven.
