Carmina is gearing up for her new soap in ABS-CBN, will she stop hosting?

Miss Carmina Villaroel could be seen again in one of the teleserye(s) of ABS-CBN.  She is one of the cast members of the new kapamilya soap entitled “May Isang Pangarap” which is expected to air soon.

According to the actress, the said teleserye project is a totally new experience for her. “First time ko makakasama si Ms. Vina Morales tapos may introducing na dalawang bata rito na talagang nag-audition pa sila para lang makuha nila ‘yung role nila. Sa show na ito siguro makikita kung paano maging isang mapagmahal na anak at saka mommy.”

“Although hindi naman talaga ako ‘yung mommy dito sa istorya. Pero sinasabi nga nila, ang pagiging ina raw, kailangan bang iluwal mo ‘yung bata or puwede bang lumalabas lang ‘yung mother instincts mo? So at least dito magagawa ko lahat ‘yun,” shares Carmina.

Though the said teleserye is about to start very soon, Carmina admitted that she would still continue hosting her other program in ABS-CBN the “Showbiz Inside Report”. “Kasi sa hosting I can be myself. Parang when I host, that’s me. That’s the real Carmina, wala akong ina-acting-an doon, ako ‘yun. So walang pretensions, no inhibitions.” 

She continued, “Sa acting naman, kasi kahit na nagpapatawa ako, meron din naman akong dramatic side so at least naman ‘yun nalalabas ko rin. At saka masarap kaeksena ‘yung magagaling na artista ng ABS-CBN. Magaga­ling na direktor din nakakatrabaho ko. So at least iba’t ibang side ‘yun, iba-ibang side ni Carmina ‘yung makikita mo,” explained the actress-host.
