Sisterakas got the lead for the revenue on 38th MMFF entries on its first day

It was a remarkable day for the Sisterakas Movie for the 38^th Metro Manila Film Festival 2012 when it got the lead in its Metro Manila revenue alone.  The said movie had top on the MMDA’s report grossing P23.1 Million Pesos on its first day of showing.  The screening was held at the Glorieta 4 last Tuesday (December 25, 2012) on Christmas day.

The two big stars of the movie none other than the Queen of all Media Miss Kris Aquino and It’s Showtime Host-Judge Vice Ganda watched together on the same day and the rest of the movie cast members such as Daniel Matsunaga, Xyriel Manabat, Daniel Padilla, Kathryn Bernardo and the director of the film Wenn Deramas were also there.

Movie goers got more delighted after they saw the Philippine President Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino was also at the movie theater to attend the movie screening and support the film of her sister Kris, the president was with his other brother Viel and Miss Kris’ sons Bimby and Josh.

Pokwang however, was at that place to give her support to the movie, she was accompanied by her daughter. The Mother of Daniel Padilla (Karla Estrada) and his siblings were also at the film screening.  The theater was fully occupied by movie goers on its regular screening schedule, that’s why those ordinary people who watched at that theater were very happy as they were watching just beside the VIP cast members of the Sisterakas movie.

The “Sisterakas” stars thanked their fans for the support on their movie and they were delighted to know that people really loved their movie.

Here is the data of the MMFF movies first day revenue that was released by the MMDA, First on the list is the “Sisterakas” on its P23.1 Million gross, next is “Si Enteng, Si Agimat, At Si Ako” with P17.1 Million, third is the movie “One More Try” with P8.8 Million Pesos.  Stay tuned for more updated list of the movie revenues for the 38^th MMFF.
