Angel Locsin to possibly compete with Nora Aunor in a best Actress Award

Angel Locsin never realized that she would compete with Miss Nora Aunor in an acting award.  There were many viewers who admired Angel and Angelica’s acting scenes on their movie “One More Try” and they believed that they Angel is entitled to receive a best-acting award.

Like the movie of Angel Locsin, the film of Ate Guy entitled “Thy Womb” is also included in the Metro Manila Film Festival entry and therefore, they were both have a possibility to get the best actress award.

According to Angel, She really admire the only Superstar of the industry ever since, “Nanginginig ako kasi never kong inisip sa buong career ko kahit na makatapat man lang kasi iba naman po talaga ’yung talento ni Ate Guy, alam nating lahat ’yan. Pero bilang isang makabagong artista, hindi mo rin maaalis sa amin na umasa kasi naniniwala kami sa project na ito. Nandiyan din si Ate Juday (Judy Ann Santos) na sobrang galing din po, sina Miss AiAi (Delas Alas). Pero ’yun nga, ’di mo maaalis sa amin na mag-wish,” she explains.

At first, the young actress had second thought in accepting the movie project especially her role in the said film was to portray as a mother.

“Medyo natakot lang ako kasi ang character ko nanay. Sabi ko, ‘Kaya ko na bang mag-mommy?’ Kaya lang sobrang challenging talaga. Hindi ko sinasabing lahat naiintindihan ko ’yung journey ng isang nanay kung paano ipaglalaban ’yung anak niya. Kung paano isasakripisyo ’yung sarili niya. Sabi nga nila walang tama o mali kung para sa anak mo naman so, napa-yes ako,” Angel disclosed.
