Myrtle Sarrosa was impressed with Enrique Gil on their Music Video of "Mr. Kupido"

The former Pinoy Big Brother teen housemate Myrtle Sarrosa had just recently finished the making of her first music video entitled "Mr. Kupido" under Star Records.  She was so blessed with the support Star Records had given her.

“Actually matagal ko nang panalangin yung mabigyan ng chance talaga kumanta. One day parang everything just all fell into place. Nagkataon napadaan ako sa isang studio, I had no idea that the person I was talking to was actually an award-winning arranger and producer. He made me sing and the next thing I know is God is showering me with overflowing blessings. They gave me the perfect song, the perfect arrangement, sobrang bait and supportive sa akin ang Star Records. Parang suddenly ang pangarap ko nararamdaman ko nang nagkakatotoo. Siguro it's because if you really believe tapos nag-pray ka talaga kay God and He sees you work hard for it, He'll make ways for you to grab your dreams," shared Myrtle.

It was released during the Valentine’s day and it involved some creative input from Myrtle herself. “I wanted the music video to relay a message this valentines and how sana parang anime yung video. Sobrang nakakatuwa yung video kasi parang nanonood ka lang ng Korean drama or anime with a twist in the end!” she said.

Kapamilya star Enrique Gill is also part of the music video: “Nung ginagawa na yung story for the video and the creatives and the director was asking me about the leading man. Isang tanong, isang sagot lang ako: Enrique Gil! Haha! He was actually my first and only choice for the music video. Siguro dahil I admire his acting skills and he really fit the role so perfectly,” explained Mrytle.

The 18-year old actress admired Enrique for being professional, “I actually admire him a lot kasi nung shinushoot ang music video, he was suffering from a terrible cold and a slight fever. Pero he was punctual, he never complained, always kept a smile throughout the set and ang galing niyang kasama sa eksena,” she revealed.

She continued by saying that the matinee idol (Enrique) impressed her even in off-screen. “Si Enrique kasi yung tipong tao na gugustuhin mong talagang katrabaho. I've met him na rin from ASAP, we've guested him at TodaMax at sobrang bait niya talaga. Siya yung tipong tao na focused, mabait sa lahat ng tao sa set and masayang kasama,” said the newbie singer.

The pretty teen actress-singer also said Enrique tried his best to prepare well for their video. “On the day we shot it, alam niya yung mga ginagawa at kailangan niyang gawin. He himself had his hair style changed just to make the music video parang Anime-inspired kaya parang kakaiba yung look niya in the video compared to how he usually dresses and he knows how to really grasp yung role,” she shared.

Myrtle also admitted she couldn’t help but feel “kilig” during her scenes with Enrique. “Di ba nga the video is all about falling in love? All throughout the video, he never failed na hindi ako pakiligin. Haha! I even felt my heart skip a beat nung shinu-shoot namin yung last sequence ng video, yung titig niya kasi parang nakaka-tunaw. Haha! The song ‘Mr. Kupido.’ Yun, yung yung nararamdaman ko habang ka-eksena ko siya. You have to watch it para malaman niyo kung ano ibig ko sabihin ,” she said while she laughs.
