Jodi Sta Maria’s real personality is very different than “Maya”

The TV-craze series Be Careful with my Heart which is starred by Miss Jodi Sta. Maria and Richard Yap in ABS-CBN is scheduled to be produced as a movie. It will be one of the entries of Star Cinema on the upcoming Metro Manila Film Festival this coming December 2013. It has been predicted that the film will showcase a very distinct story compared with the said soap opera.

“Siguro in general it’s the start of a new chapter in the lives of Maya (Jodi) and Ser Chief (Richard). And then after the movie siguro distant muna konti sa continuation. So, you shouldn’t miss the movie kasi if you miss the movie hindi mo alam kung ano’ng nangyari,” said Jodi with a smile.

“’Yung movie as far as I’m concerned, hindi siya recap ng parang from what happened ng day one hanggang sa where we left off pero continuation at continuation ulit sa television. From TV-movie-TV. So, kung ano ’yung aabangan at mapapanood nila, ’yun ’yung kailangan nilang abangan,” added the actress.

Meanwhile, there were times that some of her fans thought Jodi’s real personality is the same as what she portrays on the said soap opera.

“There was one time na nangyari sa akin, bumibili ako ng drink sa isang shop. ’Tapos may mga lumapit na medyo may edad na ’tapos nag-hi sila ’tapos nag-hi ako. Tanong sila nang tanong, ako naman siyempre isang tanong, isang sagot. ’Tapos sabi nila, ‘Ay, hindi ka pala madaldal ’no?’ So, parang feeling ko, kapag nakikita nila ako, ine-expect nila ang makukuha nila sa akin kung sino ’yung nakikita nila sa television. Kapag nakikita nila, kailangan laging masaya, nakangiti, at madaldal,” shares Jodi.
