Alex Gonzaga to portray as Pinky in her very first Maalaala Mo Kaya (MMK) episode

Kapamilya Actress-host Alex Gonzaga will be seen in an intense drama role on her very first appearance in ABS-CBN’s long time drama show “Maalaala Mo Kaya” which will be aired this coming Saturday (August 3).

She will portray the life story of Pinky, a helpful and loving nephew of her Auntie and Uncle (where she lived) who helped her to finish her studies. Because of unconditional attention that they are giving to Pinky, her cousin Rene (will be portrayed by Dimples Romana) became jealous on her.

This leads to a situation wherein her life became miserable while she was with Rene. More years had passed she just kept unaffected with all the hurts (physical and emotional) she had with Rene, she did this because she wanted to reach her goal and finish her studies. She used those pains as her inspiration to become successful in life.

Aside from Alex, part of the cast of “MMK” this Saturday are Dimples, Maila Gumila, Lito Pimintel, Daisy Reyes, Alan Paule, Guji Lorenzana, and Slater Young. While Kapamilya child wonder Xyriel Manabat will act as young Pinky and teen Star Miles Ocampo will portray as young Rene.

This coming MMK episode is under the research of Alex Martin, written by Joan Habana, and directed by Don Cuaresma.
