Zanjoe Marudo desires to do the “Lastikman” role

Aside from being busy in kapamilya soap Annaliza, Zanjoe Marudo and the comedy sitcom of ABS-CBN entitled “Banana Nite”, he also have other projects that are set  to be done by him. “Gagawa ako ng pelikula sa Star Cinema, comedy film ulit at may gagawin din akong indie (film) this year,” he said.

According to the actor, he is enjoying to do such kind of films having comedy acts. “Noong simula pa lang, ’yung comedy nakadikit na. Simula pa lang ay hindi na ako nawawalan ng comedy, sitcom, gag show, ’tapos sa Kimmy Dora, at nabigyan ako ng pelikula na comedy. Kailangan talaga naming hanapin kung saan ’yung magwo-work. Kung ’yun ang gusto ng management, ’yun ang gagawin ko. Pero kung gusto nila ng drama, ng pa-sexy, puwede,” explais Zanjoe.

Meanwhile, the actor also shared that he wishes to do a super hero role like what Bossing Vic Sotto did in a movie “Lastikman”.  It could be remembered that Zanjoe had previously did the role of Super Islaw in the former teleserye “Super Inggo”.

“’Yung ganoong klaseng role hindi na ako naghe-hesitate kung kaya ko ba o hindi. Kumbaga, gusto kong magkaroon ng ganoong project kasi confident ako na magagawa ko. Hindi siya ganoon kaseryoso. Ako, mukha lang akong seryoso pero kapag kumikilos si Lastikman ay charming at humahaba pa ang kamay kaya noong ginawa ni Vic Sotto, charming ang kinalabasan. Nagpaparinig lang, gusto ko talaga,” said Zanjoe and he laughs.
