John Lloyd and Sarah Geronimo film earned P32.6 million on its first day of release

It’s been a success for the third installment film of today’s hottest love-team of the Philippine movie John Lloyd Cruz and Sarah Geronimo as their movie entitled “It Takes A Man and A Woman” earned at least P32.6 Million on its first day in theaters nationwide.

The film was opened on the Black Saturday (March 30), with this success, Star Cinema’s advertising and promotions manager Mico Del Rosario tweets yesterday and wrote: “P32.6M first day opening gross for It Takes A Man and A Woman! Congratulations everyone!! To God be the Glory,”

Reports also said that there was a long queue on the ticketing booth that moviegoers endured long lines to watch the romantic-comedy flick. This only shows how their fans truly support the movie and it is said to be worth to watch as this is their last installment project.

On Twitter, netizens who saw the film on opening day also expressed their reactions to the "kilig" and dramatic scenes in the Star Cinema and Viva Films co-production.

Some said they cried, a number said they laughed more, while others felt it was a "bipolar" experience, having laughed and cried at intervals throughout the film.
